A safe group for spiritual growth starting 5/1

When I first understood the gospel of grace and salvation through faith in Jesus, I began consuming Bible study. As I began to learn about God and His plans for humanity, my worldview was change within a few months. I remember feeling like I had stumbled upon the key to life and wondered why no one had shared it with me earlier.

When I look back, God was so gracious to me. He gave me a safe place to practice putting my new way of life into action. I was immersed in a Christian community that was a non-judgmental and supportive. It allowed me a place to grow in knowledge, truth and love. That was many years ago and a move took me out of that community.

By His grace, I now find myself in a new community of love and safety in the Monday Night Women’s Spiritual Formation group.

If you are in Moore County, NC and looking for such a group, consider joining us as we seek to grow in a deeper knowledge of God and our ourselves.

Beginning May 1, we will begin our summer reading of Emotionally Healthy Relationships Day by Day Devotional. Each reading begins with 2 minutes of silence, followed by a scripture and devotional that inspires us to be conformed to the image of Christ as well as a reflection question.

A reading schedule will be handed out for the summer with 5 readings per week. Each Monday evening (except some holidays) we will gather to discuss how God is using the readings to transform our outlook on Him, ourselves, and the relationships within our sphere of influence. You are welcome to pop in and out of the group as your travel schedule allows.

Time and place: 7-8:30PM at the Care Cottage in the Village of Pinehurst. Please contact me if you are interested in joining us.
